Licence fees
London Borough of Bexley does not publish a single figure we could confirm. Fees are set by the council and reviewed each year, so check its fees page.
Mandatory HMO licence (new application): £350 non-refundable initial fee, plus £330 per letting/room, with the room-based balance payable before the licence is granted. There is no flat total for the mandatory licence because the fee scales with the number of lettings in the property. Renewal HMO licence: £350 initial fee plus £205 per letting. Selective licence (Belvedere ward designation, in force 13 January 2025 to 12 January 2030): £350 initial fee plus £480, a total of £830. A £50 discount applies to landlords/agents already accredited at the time of application. Licences are valid for 5 years, and the fee is reviewed annually.
Check the current fee on the council website (bexley.gov.uk) before you apply.
Additional and selective licence fees
Fees for council-designated schemes are set separately from the mandatory HMO fee. Figures are the standard full-rate fee for a new licence, before any discounts.

£830
Selective licence for a privately rented dwelling in the Belvedere ward designation, full rate: £350 initial (non-refundable) application fee plus £480 licence grant fee
